Okay, it’s way early to be making predictions, but that’s half the fun. When we get down to the twelve finalists of American Idol 5, how many will I get right? My initial impressions:
* Bobby Brady will outlast Harry Connick, Jr.
* The new Carrie will outlast the new Bo.
* You will never get to the final twelve by being obnoxious and arrogant.
* Daddy might be able to buy you a top twelve spot, but you won’t become Idol 5.
* Taylor Hicks will keep getting votes because people want to see what he will do next.
So here’s my limb, and I’m going out on it. The Final Twelve:

Jungle Pop 
I can’t see Bucky hanging on for too long. I also think that Gideon will make the top 12. Race is a factor in the popularity game. Aside from Gideon and “Sway” it is a very white group. Sway’s talent is to shallow to carry him. Elliot, Taylor and Ace are sure things. I bet Chris and Gideon make it too… The last spot is a wildcard
I am clueless on the girls. Anything can happen. I think the youngsters aren’t going anywere anytime soon.
Now you outed me. Everyone will now know my secret. I haven’t missed a minute all season. I am not sure I am happy about that.

Yeah, you could be right about Bucky. We’ll see.
I think Gedeon is one where I could be wrong, but he just seemed so affected the other night, I’m not sure how long America will put up with it.
And I wouldn’t say Elliott is a sure thing. He’s got a severe redneck look – in my opinion, it will only take one week’s bad review by the judges to get America tired of him, regardless of how good his voice is. I hope he does well, though – he’s from my hometown of Richmond, VA!
My fave so far this season is Chris – but I’ll wait until the final 12 before deciding if he’s one of my final four picks.

I agree with you 100%. My fantasy final four will be Taylor, Elliot, Paris, and Mandisa. I would like Taylor and Mandisa to be in the final two.

Just remember, be careful what you predict. You’ll be judged by every idol word.
I find it hard to predict who WILL make it. You Americans are just so different. I never know what you’ll do.
